SOCIOLOGICAL PROOF THAT VATICAN II DESTROYED ACTIVE PARTICIPATION IN THE CHURCH AS ATTENDANCE AT MASS PLUMMETS FOR WOMEN?

Here you go, statistical proof that the liberalizing forces of Vatican II, be that in fact or in spirit, destroyed the high percentage of Catholics, in this case women, who attend Mass!

This photo is independent of the story from CNS below but tells us of the malaise in the Catholic Church in Chile. This is a photo of Pope Francis' meeting with youth in Chile. It is sad and very telling. Even Pope Benedict would have had more kids and Pope St. John Paul II....sad to say the least! The popemobile is toward the left side of the photo as Pope Francis makes his triumphal tour around the throngs!

Survey: Only 24% of Catholic Women Attend Mass Weekly

Of the 24% who attend Mass weekly, how many are fully believing Catholics? That is, believe everything in the weak and wobbly CCC (i.e., vague belief as compared with the Catechism of Trent, or even the children's Baltimore Catechism).

Maybe a quarter of them? (Though not at the Novus Ordo church nearest me, where--from attendance stretching over a half century and more--I know it's probably less than a quarter).

So 1/4 of 24% = 6%, which is 1 in 16 Catholics actually believe it. That's the fruit of Vatican II for you.

24% is surprisingly high. In fact, I find it hard to believe that one in four Catholic women will be at Mass this Sunday. But if it's true, then that's great.

Another Vatican Distaster II success story. That "new and improved" Mass is really packing them in!

Statistics. I get that sinking feeling when these types of posts appear. I hope the 'Anonymous Carltons' of this blog are either away on business or, really busy in their parish(s) so as not to torture us for further evidence proving the obvious.
