THIS IS THE STUFF THAT MAKES ME WONDER ABOUT FATIMA'S 3RD SECRET!

When on sabbatical in Roma last year, I attended the Mass where the Holy Father consecrated the world to Our Lady of Fatima. The famous statue of Our Lady of Fatima was present and enthroned opposite to where I was sitting on the other side of the papal throne. I took these two pictures and had the best seat in the house. I distributed Holy Communion in the periphery of St. Peter's Square! What an awesome day!

I continue to believe that the third Fatima secret does not refer to Pope St. John Paul II as claimed by the Vatican many years ago but to another pope who faces not an attempted assassination but actual martyrdom.
This is the third secret, please note what I underline!

"I write in obedience to you, my God, who command me to do so through his Excellency the Bishop of Leiria and through your Most Holy Mother and mine.

"After the two parts which I have already explained, at the left of Our Lady and a little above, we saw an Angel with a flaming sword in his left hand; flashing, it gave out flames that looked as though they would set the world on fire; but they died out in contact with the splendor that Our Lady radiated towards him from her right hand: pointing to the earth with his right hand, the Angel cried out in a loud voice: 'Penance, Penance, Penance!'. And we saw in an immense light that is God: 'something similar to how people appear in a mirror when they pass in front of it' a Bishop dressed in White 'we had the impression that it was the Holy Father'. Other Bishops, Priests, men and women Religious going up a steep mountain, at the top of which there was a big Cross of rough-hewn trunks as of a cork-tree with the bark; before reaching there the Holy Father passed through a big city half in ruins and half trembling with halting step, afflicted with pain and sorrow, he prayed for the souls of the corpses he met on his way; having reached the top of the mountain, on his knees at the foot of the big Cross he was killed by a group of soldiers who fired bullets and arrows at him, and in the same way there died one after another the other Bishops, Priests, men and women Religious, and various lay people of different ranks and positions. Beneath the two arms of the Cross there were two Angels each with a crystal aspersorium in his hand, in which they gathered up the blood of the Martyrs and with it sprinkled the souls that were making their way to God."

Isil want to assassinate the Pope, says Iraq's ambassador to Vatican

Habeeb Al Sadr warns that Isil's "band of criminals" could have Pope Francis in its sights, ahead of the pontiff's visits to Albania and Turkey

Pope Francis is at risk of an assassination attempt by the Islamic extremists of Isil, the Vatican has been warned, ahead of his first visit to a Muslim-majority country this weekend.
As the 77-year-old pontiff prepares to travel to Albania on Sunday for a one-day visit, Iraq's ambassador to the Holy See said there were credible threats against the pontiff's life.
The leader of the Roman Catholic Church could also be vulnerable when he travels to Turkey in November, the ambassador said.
Jihadists from Isil have in recent weeks boasted of wanting to extend their caliphate to Rome, the heart of Western Christendom, and have talked of planting the jihadist black flag on top of St Peter's Basilica.
Habeeb Al Sadr said there were also indications of a more specific threat against Pope Francis, who recently spoke out in favour of the US and its allies halting the advance of Isil in Syria and Iraq.
"What has been declared by the self-declared Islamic State is clear – they want to kill the Pope. The threats against the Pope are credible," the ambassador told La Nazione, an Italian daily, on Tuesday.

"I believe they could try to kill him during one of his overseas trips or even in Rome. There are members of Isil who are not Arabs but Canadian, American, French, British, also Italians.
"Isil could engage any of these to commit a terrorist attack in Europe."

The ambassador said the Pope had made himself a target by speaking out against the human rights abuses committed against Christians in Syria and Iraq, as well as by his approval of attempts by the US to try to roll back Isil.

"In cases like this, where there is an unjust aggression, then it is licit to halt the aggressor," he said in an interview during his flight back from a visit to South Korea last month.
"But I stress 'halt'. I don't say bomb, or make war, but rather stop him," the Pope said.

The ambassador, who has been stationed in Rome for four years, said: "This band of criminals does not just issue threats – in Iraq they have already violated and destroyed some of the most sacred sites of the Shiite faith. They have struck at Yazidi and Christian places of worship. They have declared that whoever is not with them, is against them. Either convert or be killed. And they are doing it – it is a genocide."

The Vatican downplayed the warning, saying that it had received no credible reports of a threat to the Pope's life and that he would not be changing his daily routine or reviewing his trip to Albania.
"There are no specific threats or risks that would change the Pope's behaviour or the way the trip is organised," said Father Federico Lombardi, the Vatican spokesman.

During the Pope's trip to Tirana, the Albanian capital, on Sunday, he will celebrate Mass in the city's main square and drive around in his open-topped Popemobile, as usual, Father Lombardi said.
The Pope wanted there to be "no obstacles" between him and the ordinary people he will encounter.

No extra security measures would be taken for the Albania trip, despite previous warnings that Albanian jihadists who had returned home from fighting in Syria or Iraq might be planning an attack.
Vatican security officials are "calm" ahead of the one-day visit, the Rev Lombardi said.

The trip to Albania is intended to celebrate the rebirth of Christianity after religious belief was crushed under the Communist rule of Enver Hoxha, and to demonstrate how Catholics, Orthodox and Muslims live in harmony in the country of three million people.

Hoxha, a hardline dictator, declared Albania the world's first atheist state in 1967 and allowed the persecution of Catholics.

The Pope's trip to Turkey, which will include events in Ankara and Istanbul, is expected to take place on Nov 29 and 30.

I will get the nit out of the way: it is not genocide. But this shows the shallow reporting and thought that is being put into this situation.

Secondly, I can't tell you how shocked I am that they would want to murder the Pope. Maybe they think he is a reporter for ZENIT.

Hope the Pope visits the USA when we free Christianity from persecution.

Well, Cardinal Burke got sacked from the Apostolic Signitura to some obscure position. Funny that this would happen a month before the "Oktober Revolution in the Church". Where the leader of the "Supreme Court" of the Vatican is sacked; coincidence that the has been one of the most outspoken critics of Kasper. And one of the presidents of the SINod just came out with a deviant statement regarding same sex couples...

Seriously Fr. AJ, seriously, when will you wake up and realize how devastating this will be for the Church? You don't have to OFFICIALLY change teachings to devastate the vineyard..Read VII

The Third Secret? This is what we've been TOLD is the Third Secret. It has been suppressed by the corrupted establishment, but Pope Benedict warned us it was not completed. We are now reaping the diabolical disorientation in our Church that has been sown for us by our leaders.

DIABOLICAL.

DISORIENTED.

Catholics are persecuted for believing as Catholics and novelty reigns. Grinning Cardinals from Latin America are bringing their compromised view of the Church into the Vatican and purging it of all things Benedict.

Canizares Llovera? Gone.

Burke? Going.

Fidelity? A mere casualty.

"SINod…LOL! I love it! It is difficult to ignore what Anonymous says…although I agree with him much of the time, I certainly hope we are both wrong.

The Secret sounds more like the death of the entire Church instead of one particular Bishop. He as the head and the rest of the bishops, priests and religious follow.

There are precedents in various countries of a near eclipse of Christianity.

Japan comes to mind. After a civil war in Japan, the new emperor ordered to total extermination of Christianity and succeeded in wiping out all priests and missionaries. For the next 300 years Christianity survived in the shadows - handed down from father to son, with just baptism and marriage as their sacraments.

In virtually every country outside the English speaking world there has been bloody open persecution of Catholics since 1789. During the Spanish civil war, first the 'anarchists' then the Soviet backed Republicans waged war on the Church and slaughtered over 7,000 bishops, priests and nuns.

Poland lost well over half their clergy in WW2 and the aftermath.

Today martyrs are being made by the thousands in Nigeria.

I've met Chinese priests who literally went underground (as in basements) to study. Generally the faith exists in the shadows and catacombs, assaulted and broomed from the public square. It's when we're weak that Heavenly strength is evident - as all our human strength is washed away revealing only God's power holding us up.

Father, I absolutely agree with your post and I don't believe either that the Third Secret relates to St Pope John Paul The Great. It relates to "the Bishop in white" who is martyred.

Think of what a future blood thirsty anti-Catholic Diocletian President could do to annihilate Catholicism in the USA.

First the fidelity oaths, the 'civil rights' lawsuits demanding we subsidize abortions and perform gay marriages, hire a quota of gay and abortion activists in all our organizations or face crippling penalties.

Then the IRS audits on all privately owned Catholic businesses and non-profits.

Wall to wall Media caterwalling about how evil we are of course.

NSA runs searches on everyone online, penetrates all Church databases and so knows pretty much who's who... and divides/conquers anyone who doesn't burn a pinch of incense to the Emperor.

In such a full court press, we lose all buildings, endowments, bank accounts... institutions handed off to lay boards who immediately strip them of any Catholic vestige... show trials and gulags set up.

The terror campaign plus media bombardment (stick and carrot) makes most people slide into apostasy to save their lives and fortune.

Pretty much everyone on this site are scooped up - or we'd need to flee into the shadows as homeless 'illegals'.

This is not far fetched - our ancestors in England went through this and more in Elizabethan England. People were martyred (hung, drawn, quartered) for the crime of merely attending Mass.

It can all happen again.

I would not predict wholesale exterminations. In countries where communists took power after WW II only a handful of prominent bishops, priest and laymen were killed. The rest went into hiding but most just served the regime even snitching on fellow Catholics.

Same thing occurred under the French revolution and Henry the VIII.

Burke is gone too, we should not be surprised or shocked. When Bergoglio first appeared on the Loggia and took off the vestment Guido Marini just gave him and he said Good Morning, right then and there I knew the era of Benedict the XVI and Summorum Pontificum was over and the revival of The Traditional Latin Mass would be snuffed out!!!!!!!!!!

Wow....I may have to take an extra dose of my anti-anxiety med after reading this.

Elvis is dead, and I don't feel so good myself.

New official Southern Orders song:
Gloom and Doom by the Rolling Stones.

(I know...I'll be singing a different tune when "they" come to get me.)

Heck, forget the anti-anxiety meds, to to confession! The sun is falling too!

You tell me your sins, I'll tell you mine. There was an old song that went something like that...probably before your time...
