I'VE ONLY READ COMMENTS LIKE THESE THAT ARE WRITTEN IN CAPTIONS UNDER THE VOICE BUT ONLY IMAGINED WHAT IT SOUNDED AND LOOKED LIKE COMING FROM COMMENTS ON LIBERAL BLOGS AGAINST THE CORRECTED ENGLISH TRANSLATION OF THE MASS (HUMOR FOLKS, HUMOR!)

This sounds pretty much like what I imagine those who post negative comments about the corrected English translation of the Mass at Praytell and "What If We Just said Wait" folks, if I could hear and see them! This is all in fun folks, but be sure to watch it all and to read the English captions over the German language of Adolph Hitler as he reacts to the Corrected translation of the Mass--funny!!!! but sadly kind of true!
Apart from the humor, this movie looks like a must see on its own merits! Great acting.

Yep, Theological accuracy is nice. Wonder how he'll react to the new Hymnal?

Typical modernist reaction . . . . another illustration that fascism is actually left-wing, not right-wing.

I can't stop laughing at the notion of Hitler representing the left.

The clip used is from the German film Downfall, which I recently saw for the first time. It is a dramatization of the last 12 days of Hitler's life, and very well done. It can be seen on netflix.

Templar, Hitler was left. Nazi stands for National Socialist party. Though it has been popular in recent years to portray Hitler and Nazism as right wing, it was not, and in fact, the left's agenda, the deeper it goes, always leads to totalitarianism.

Good point Bill Meyers!!!!!! And liberal Catholicism is in bed with these folks and can never stand up to them but have succumbed!

Thank you, Father, and with respect, there is only one of me, so the singular form of my surname will be fine. ;)

Liberal Catholics seem to be rather free about bed partners, to my shame. The seem to have been very effective in dismantling much of what used to be Catholic education, and in blocking proper catechetical teaching. The DRE in my parish has been in her position for 30+ years, favors ordination of women, and considers Fr. Richard Rohr her best source for theology.

Jesus wept.

The fact that Hitler was a leftist was also the essence of my comment about fascism being left-wing. The German right-wingers of the 1920s and 1930s wanted a restoration of the monarchy. Germany was national Socialism; the USSR was international socialism. Both were collectivist rather than classically liberal.

Fr. Allan, this clip has served many a satire; this one being mildly pointed and pithy.
If you want to view another version of it that will give you bellyaches from laughing, search at YTube for "Hitler, no Harley for Sturgis." Definite R rating for language, but ROTFLOL worthy.

OK, I just came for a dinner out with my wife. She told me about a neighbouring parish where the priest had been moved after large numbers just quit attending. Among other things he had stopped hearing Confession. He had not felt it was necessary. So I went nuts and made Hitler look like he was doing a Mr Rogers imitation. Thank goodness we were in a wing joint so no one noticed.

What the heck is wrong with everybody??

rcg - how interesting! Our priest sounds very much like the one you mentioned, but he has ATTRACTED people to our church - the cafeteria catholics have come out of the closet for his weekly performance, magic act & all! -pgal
