STUNNING NEW CHURCH IN INDIANA! SO THEY CAN BUILD THEM LIKE THIS TODAY! WHO KNEW?

My only critique is the actual sanctuary, it is directly up 5 steps and has no landing between steps for RCIA rituals, Weddings, ordinations and the like. Should also have an extended first step for the introduction or placement of an altar railing. As it is, it looks too much like a stage! That's one of the problems with today's liturgical ideology which would not have occurred in Romanesque times in building a sanctuary in this design. But apart from that, stunning, absolutely stunning by today's standards.

It is nice to see some of the traditional arts return to the churches. I wonder if those paintings are genuine fresco's?

This is my siblings parish. The Monsignor is a great guy. I sent him a congratulatory note and he responded immediately. I told him this new Church will inspire the young and he said that is his hope. Sitting in bowling alley style churches inspires NO ONE
